Ms. Mona Elsaadi, Owner
Ms. Mona joined The Art Learning Center in 2012 as a manager in daily operations and became its owner in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, an early childhood certificate and a Director’s Credential. After 12 years in retail management at a children’s shoe store and raising two children of her own, she found that working with children is what she loves most.
Ms. Kelly Ruben, Director
Ms. Kelly has worked in early childhood education since 2020 and holds an associate degree in special education. She joined The Art Learning Center in 2023 as our Pre-K teacher and became our director a year later. She leads family visits, reviews every teacher’s lesson plans and loves helping the children and families in our community through their early childhood years.
Who we hire
Our teachers are chosen for their education, their training and their experience with young children. Every member of our staff has passed state and FBI background checks, including fingerprinting, and is trained in pediatric first aid and fire safety. Teachers complete at least 18 hours of professional training every year.
