A school with deep roots
The Art Learning Center has served local families for more than 30 years. Our owner, Ms. Mona, has been part of the school for 14 years, and our director, Ms. Kelly, taught our Pre-K class before becoming our director. Your child’s school is run by people who know it well and are here every day.
What your family can expect
You can expect to feel at home here. Your child will be safe, cared for and excited about what they are learning. You will have teachers and a director who listen, keep you informed and work with you as partners in your child’s education.
A structured day your child will enjoy
Every classroom follows a daily schedule and a curriculum, and every teacher writes lesson plans for their class. Your child learns it all through art, music and play, so they are getting ready for kindergarten and enjoying every day of it.
Rated for quality
The Art Learning Center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and rated STAR 3 of 4 in Keystone STARS, Pennsylvania’s quality rating system for early learning and school-age programs. Our teachers complete at least 18 hours of professional training every year.
A welcome for every family
Children of all abilities are welcome here, and we work with you to help your child take part fully. We have bilingual staff and can share information with you in the language you prefer.
Room to grow
Our classrooms serve children from 2 months through age 13, and brothers and sisters can attend the same school. When your child is ready for the next classroom, they spend part of each day there for two weeks first, so the new room and teacher are familiar before they move.
